FAQs

Is the assistance controlled via a torque sensor?

The motor support can be varied by switching up and down on the display, and there is also a torque sensor on the bottom bracket, which measures the pedaling force on the pedal, the harder you pedal, the more power you get from the motor, so everything is fully automatic.

Is it possible to ride a MOUGG when the battery is empty?

The MOUGG is easy to ride with the engine switched off.

Kann der Akku entfernt werden? Gibt es Ersatzakku?

The battery is integrated in the frame, which can be locked to prevent theft and removed if necessary. However, it can also be charged when installed.

A spare battery can be purchased as an option.

What are the MOUGG levels?

  • Level 0: Motor assistance is off
  • Stage 1: Motor support for maximum battery range and efficiency
  • Stage 2: consistent motor support for a long range
  • Level 3: powerful motor assistance for sporty riding
  • Level 4: maximum motor assistance for fast riding
  • Stage 5: improved assistance for powerful starting and more dynamics and maximum riding pleasure

Is the display waterproof?

The display is protected against splash water and rainwater (IP65 certified).

How fast can you drive with MOUGG?

The motor supports up to 25 km/h.

Are the lights connected to the battery?

Yes, the lighting system on the MOUGG is approved according to the StVZO. The lights can be operated via the display and are powered by the battery.

Can the stem be adjusted?

Comfort handlebars are fitted with an adjustable stem.

Is a kickstand bike stand included?

Every MOUGG is equipped with a kickstand bike rack as standard.

Are reflectors fitted to the MOUGG?

Each toolbox supplied also includes reflectors for you to attach yourself.

Is it possible to mount a bicycle trailer on MOUGG?

Yes, bicycle trailers can be attached either to the rear wheel axle or to the seat post, depending on the type and design.
